50 Years of Innovation

It has been over 50 years since Dr. Richard Jobe helped pioneer the development of the first set of standardized gold eyelid implants to treat the facial palsy patient who has lost the full closing function of one or both eyelids. Dr. Jobe and co-founder Richard Grey launched MedDev in 1971 and grew it into a leading global innovator in the supportive eye care device market. Today MedDev continues to work with key opinion leaders to stay at the forefront of new and evolving technologies.
